Founded by Alberto and Carmelo, Wherein was born from a simple idea: to share the Italy we know and love personally. Not rushed, crowded or impersonal, but generous, welcoming and full of real local character.

Our holidays bring together hands-on cooking classes, beautiful accommodation, local wines, cultural excursions, shared meals and carefully chosen experiences. Everything is arranged for you, so you can simply arrive, relax and enjoy Italy at its most delicious.
Our story
Wherein Cooking Holidays was founded by Alberto and Carmelo, two Italians with a deep love for food, hospitality and meaningful travel.​ Our roots are in Sicily, where cooking is never just about ingredients. It is about family, memory, generosity and the joy of gathering around a table. That spirit is at the heart of every holiday we create.

We wanted to offer a different kind of Italian holiday: one that feels personal, relaxed and beautifully organised, while still giving guests a genuine connection to local life.

Over the years, we have built close relationships with local chefs, hosts, producers, guides and villa owners across Italy. These are the people who make each Wherein holiday so special. They welcome our guests not as tourists passing through, but as people invited to experience the flavours, stories and traditions of their region.
